Our roster has thinned some, and we're looking for some exceptional players to fill it with!

An ideal applicant would have considerable end game experience and an understanding of the time commitment expectations of a HNM shell. At this stage in the game, many of our members have multiple jobs leveled, but we all must be cognizant that members will be required to attend on jobs that offer valued additions to the alliance. Being that any player can only operate as one job at a time, the ability to play a single job with skill and insight is more valued more then having a laundry list of possible jobs.

More specifically, Ethereal is in need of players with mage jobs (and the desire to play them). Rangers are great too. Large amounts of daily play time, quick access to all areas, and a genuine love for HNM and endgame content are all preferred. Players with multiple accounts and the ability to dual box come at a premium, though it's not a requirement. We do ask that members utilize Ventrilo, so players with this capability are preferred.

If you feel you'd be a good fit to become a member of Ethereal, please submit an application. The more detailed it is, the better, as your application will go a long way to letting us know who we're dealing with and what kind of player you are before accepting you into our ranks.

One of the most solid Xarc runs we've done in a long time. Of course, we still get shitty AF drops... but Dynamis Lord definitely put out, and we were able to get a fragment for a buyer in the same run. Grats to Deltafoxx on the Shadow Mantle, and myself on the Ring =P



Cleaned house with this Omega as well, dropping three pieces just like the last kill.

Our favorite linkshell racist, Neji, is taking a short hiatus from the world of FFXI. So we felt he needed to be set off properly, and we found the one thing that would make a black man disconnect from FFXI... an Aryan Blobdingnag. Good luck, Neji!



Wow! So with that out of the way lol... We've done a lot of crap this week, only like half of which I took pics of. Either way, I havent done an update in a while so this'll be a big one!

Zerged a pair of Kirin's... though as I predicted in the last post, he stopped dropping W.legs. Fuck him.



Drops inside Dynamis-Tav were bountiful, though unfortunately none of them were really all that good. Thinking about working towards the win in this zone as the level cap goes up... we had tried it a few times before, but it's pretty fucking difficult to get just one Diabolos NM lol. Hopefully that'll change.



Yilbegan continues to fuck us in the ass... having never seen a single ring from the thing. Fuck him, too.

Apparantly, we claimed a Fafnir at some time in the middle of the night when I was asleep. Because I wasnt there... we get Pocket's shitty screenshots. His resolution makes me cry! So do the drops this Faf gave us.



Also killed a Cerberus, though with how the prices have dropped on his materials it'll probably be our last one for a while. No reason to go after the thing again until we attempt to zerg it once more.

Destroyed this Odin with 16 players on 18 accounts, and we were pretty happy with the drops so the whole thing was real solid.



Been having great luck with Wyrmal legs, seeing quite a few of them in our recent zergs. Now that I've said something, it'll no doubt start dropping scrolls of Quake like it's cool.



Been rocking Abyssea... there's so much to do in there it's almost overwhelming deciding where to spend our time lol Either way, we've killed a ton of shit inside La Theine... getting scythes, mantles, belts, shoes, and a bunch of other cool shit that I didnt take pictures of. Killed more shit inside Tahrongi as well, including this turtle a couple times (best loot pool shown below).

Definitely looking forward to spending more time inside Abyssea.
