Dyn-Glacier, Ultima

Pounded through this Ultima for a mercenary client, fight was smooth but drops were average at best. At least they didnt go to waste, grats to the client and our very own Falastor.

Cleaned house in this Dynamis-Glacier, pulling a ton of AF and two attestations (only one pictured >.>). Unfortunately, neither attestation was one we were really looking for, so we'll be needing to go back. But we'll finish our next shield once we get this thing so... yeah.

Went and killed this thing again for shits and giggles, despite what the pic below might say (it's from our previous kill cause i was too busy to take them this time) we did Elatha this time with like 12 players. A much rougher fight, but we none the less prevailed and were rewarded with our second claymore.

Finally some drops from these Fomors!!

Had great success in the past tonite with these Fomors, finally seeing some of the coveted gear they hold. We've had a lot of fun ironing out the strategies for them and are very excited to get some more of their gear onto our ls members.

Tethra gave one of our DRK's what is probably the sexiest zerg neck piece in the game, so grats to Malikai on that one!

Ethniu put out like a cheap whore tonite, giving us both the weapon and the legs. A fucking HOT weapon skill piece for any job that can use them, and congratulations are in order to Jinroh for those. Props go out to Falastor on the knife, Ethereal's second.

Oh right, and we thought that maybe since Blood Weapon works on the Fomors in Dynamis-Glacier that maybe it'd work on them here too... so Delta and I both came DRK to try it out... yeah we were wrong, it does not work. No matter, since Ethniu still went down like Hillary Duff on her fiance.

For being the one we've killed the most thus far, Elatha finally gave us a drop in the form of Ethereal's first great sword! It went to myself, so I must give a large thanks to everyone in the linkshell!

And Buarainech is still as stingy as ever, though we applied a new strategy and it made for a MUCH smoother fight. So at least there was something good about this one, even if he dropped nothing. Hey, 3 out of 4 isnt bad, right?

We havent been down to the Nest to try Lugh in a while, so we'll probably make a stop over there on our next fomor adventure.

King Behemoth - Kirin

Been a while since we caught one of these beasts, and we were pretty happy with the drops, too. Finally completed a Black Belt for Neji, one of our players who has been waiting a long time for that tongue!

It seems like every time we go up to do Kirin, I forget to take pictures. Maybe it's cause the fight lasts like 45 seconds... or maybe it's because the last two times we've done Kirin I seem to get hit with Deadly Hold for like 2k dmg right as I hit Souleater and end up dead. I think I need merits in Muted Soul >.> lolol

Either way, this is a pic from a different Kirin (with our drops shopped in there =P) that we crushed with our friends in Luna Knights. Fought it the old school way, which was a nostalgic change of pace from Ethereal's standard zerg tactic. I don't remember what they got, but the kirin we zerged a few hours before dropped W.legs and a D.body. Grats to Dathus on getting places 12% faster, and Gadanae on the Shura togi.

Odin #3

Plowed through our third Odin kill with only 19 players, got basically exactly what we were lookin for when the end came. Double E.bodies, YEAH! Grats to Coragem and Malikai on those, Rurcipper on the V.fork, and Falastor on the Hadean cuffs.

Got enough mules that we can literally do Odin every 4th Einherjar, so many more of these are coming.

Been a while since we fought our favorite pony, so we were a little rusty. Still finished taking it down in a reasonable time, though.

Serket showed his face as well, and gave us another Tathlum.

Fomors!

Really having a good time ironing out strategies for these things. They're brutal, but no match for Ethereal!

Found the polearm on this one, our second weapon.

Found a Cerberus up and roaming, got another Algol.

Found a Serket, been a while since we've seen both drops so that was good.

And found an hour to plow through some farming in Dynamis-Valkurm, first prize goin to Dathus on this one for the -1 D.chap!

KS99's and more HNM

Snagged another Cerb after a lulz filled hold attempt by a competing linkshell. Whether or not it was a serious hold I couldn't say, but it ended with all of them dead on the floor. Why even claim when you can't (or won't) kill it? FriendsForever just trying to shit in our cereal again, I guess. Oh well, we snagged it and finished the job. No sword =(

Been more competition for this silly worm lately than there has been in like a year... used to be just us and the JP's, what the hell happened? But I gotta admit, it's pretty funny camping against "scanners" who are on jobs that don't even have access to widescan. Guess it's a good thing we got in so many uncontested claims over the last year and geared the fuck out of our linkshell with all the drops.

Despite all the people tryin to find this thing, we still managed to snag one. Weren't the first to claim, but I guess that doesnt matter when your competition doesnt know how to kite. So we just claimed it when they died. Got the Mail, but no Tathlum. Maybe next time.

Undoubtedly the most epic KV claim we've had in a while, this one started out with us trying to have some fun trioing Calchas with two PLDs and a DRK in the middle of KV's window. It was going ok, we were just kiting it around the cactus like we do with his bigger brother and slowly bringing it down with Bio, but then double earth weather appeared. Sure enough, King V was up and roaming. So I ran over and grabbed it.

With only one Absorb-TP, no form of refresh or gravity, and no less than two NM's coming after us, our trio quickly ended. Below was the only screen I got of our attempt to kite both NM's, where Prodigy was attempting to run Calchas back to his spawn area and die, in hopes that it would be simply too far from us to wander back. This was not the outcome, as Prod just got drawn-in by KV and Calchas came running back for us all. (the shot kinda sucks, I know, but cant expect great pictures when things are hectic lol)

Either way, FriendsForever had a lone RDM there at the time of the spawn who had been watching our hilarity. By the time we had died and chosen to home point, they had a DRK in zone who I'm told claimed KV and failed to kite, since when we returned to the scene they had both died and home pointed. How they managed to wipe kiting KV with a DRK and a RDM... I do not know. No matter, KV was unclaimed when we rolled back up, so we grabbed it.

It took us a while to get people online... had to make a few phone calls and send out some text messages, but we eventually got the numbers. I guess in the process our competition was pretty upset at failing so hard, since they called a GM on us for holding. GM gave us a time limit to make an actual attempt to kill it, which we did when we were good and ready (and well before the time limit we were given, I might add). Sorry FriendsForever, most of our players have real lives and real obligations... our entire linkshell can't be online 24 hours a day camping HNMs like yours.

Despite the sourness left on the kill with the whole GM thing, we got what we were looking for when an Ace's Helm hit the pool.

We also found some time to clear out a few KS99's some members had been wanting. With all the competition horseshit this update is filled with, I'm surprised FriendsForever didnt somehow find their way into our KS99 and try to outclaim our Wyrms. We did like 5 or 6 of these, put some gil in the pockets of some members. Unfortunately no Speed Belts =(

Hopefully our next update wont be filled with nonsense from FriendsForever. It really is getting tiresome.

Cerb, KV, Omega

Found this Cerb when no one else was camping it, lucky day there. No sword, though.

Blew through this Omega, got some decent drops we were actually looking for (thank god no more heads or bodies). Grats to Falastor on going 5/5, and Rurcipper on finally receiving some red and black legs.

Put down another King Vinegarroon, got another helm. Killed this one with our lowest numbers yet, 10 players on 13 accounts (3 BRDs, 1 RDM/DRK, and the rest on DD). Like the 5th helm this week, so we've been having some good luck with this thing. Grats to Lizual.

Ouryu, and some zerging fun

Cleaned out a pair of these wyrms, give ourselves a couple Bv2's to work through soon. Made short work of each. Both drop pools looked pretty much the same, so you only get a screen of one.

Zerged another KV, killed that other scorpion while we were at it. Had a good laugh kiting both at the same time lol. Got another helm, we kept this one and gave it to Llonheart.

And if you remember seeing the last post of our previous Kirin zerg, then you probably remember seeing this screenshot. Why did I reuse the screenshot, you may ask? Probably has something to do with eating a 2119 Deadly Hold moments after I engaged, only to be baffled by my death and totally forgetting to take any other screens. The rest of the linkshell made up for me taking a dirt nap, and he got put down quickly. No W.legs, but good drops all around.

King Vinegarroon! Cerberus! Dynamis!

Been a while since I've made an update to the front page... we relaxed on camping HNMs for a while, think everyone was starting to get a little burnt out on doing the same shit over and over again. Either way, we've been getting back into the swing of Dynamis, and collecting feathers in Einherjar for our next Odin kill. Hopefully we can fit in some SCNM or ZNM along the way, farm some sea or sky as well. But that doesn't mean we wont keep up with HNM, we'll just find some other ones to kill!

And speaking of... we killed a Cerberus today! Been a while since we cared enough to camp this thing (our last kill was about a month ago), so it was fun to fight him again. We took it down too quickly, though... barely enough time to savor the fun. Grats to Xcaliber on his Algol.

And along with HNMs we haven't killed in a long time... King Vinegarroon! Been over two months since we last killed this thing, but we had some buyers lined up who camped it for us, so we sold them some helms. Three kills, three helms, three sales. Got some members with newly leveled jobs that would like the helm, so we'll be trying to outfit them here soon.

And this guy... is not King V. But since I forgot to take a picture during this KV kill, and we zerged the FUCK out of this mini-scorp NM thing just moments after KV died... I felt it was funny enough to post because we got chain 1! And a few minutes later, Matuyoga was hundred fisted by that dhamel NM, Celphie. Unfortunately, no screenshots of that.

Plowed through a Dynamis-Valkurm a couple days ago, which was relatively successful despite the lack of accessories in the loot pool. If anything, we tried a new farming route that led us up through the secret beach area and to more hippogryphs, which are always good. Anything to steer clear of the sabotenders we've ended up farming in the last few runs lol
